Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy involves the following steps: First,  blood is drawn in our office. Then, the blood is spun down in a centrifuge, which allows for separation of the plasma. Afterwards, numbing cream is applied and your own plasma is injected into your scalp. The activated platelets in the PRP release growth factors that stimulate the hair follicles.

PRP helps stimulate natural hair regrowth, decrease hair loss, and increase hair density and thickness.  

It is recommended to have at least 4 sessions of PRP injections. Many people notice a difference in hair growth and thickness after the second session! Once desired results are achieved, maintenance sessions are recommended every 4 months.
