What is Non-invasive Lipo/Lipolysis? Small needles are used to send fat dissolving agents into adipose tissue. We use an agent called deoxycholic acid, which is a manmade form of the bile acid your body naturally makes to break down fat. Once injected, the deoxycholic acid begins to break down and kill fat cells (lipolysis) in the targeted area.
Where can Non-invasive Lipo be done? This procedure can be done in localized areas of stubborn fat, such as submental, armpit and bra strap roll, abdomen, love handles, and inner thighs.
What to Expect? Expect to book 4 sessions 1 week apart for all treatment areas for optimal results. Results are gradual and will be seen over the month of treatment. Diet, exercise, and increased water intake may help propel quicker results. Discomfort during the procedure is minimal and there are virtually no risks involved. It is normal for bruising or tenderness to be present in treated areas.
Contraindications: Lipolysis is not recommended for those under 18 years of age, pregnant or breast feeding, uncontrolled diabetics, those on blood thinners/anti-coagulants, and those who are prone to keloid scars.
